Real-time log viewer on ASA never shows anything

Hi,

How do I get the real-time log viewer for the ASA to work. I'm using the ASDM at it never shows a thing, what do I need to check/enable to get this to work?

Once it's working I'd like to be able to filter traffic.

just do enable logging.

I have logging enabled, my syslog server is getting filled up for many months, but not the real-time view, and I want this to work.

enable logging for asdm

But it is, on the first screen of the ASDM the logs are coming in, but go to logging then the real-time logging shows nothing.
