I tried to accept calls over voip from CME without adding it as H323 Gateway,

BUT made "Aceept unknown TCP connection" parameter in service parameters to true.

But the call fails.

What is the purpose of this parameter.?

This parameter will allow connections from a device that does not have a gateway or trunk profile configured in CCM. Do you have a DN or translation profile configured that matches the incoming digits from CME? What codec are you using? The default for voip dial peers is g.729. Try changing this to g.711 with the command "codec g711ulaw" under your voip dial peer to CCM.

Hope this helps.

Hi bbuffin,

Thx for reply..

From above description i think i understand right.

My case is when adding CME as H323 GW in CCM call succeeded but when delete CME from CCM & put this parameter to true call failed.

Call over G729.

If this parameter should work, why not work over G729 especially I have xcoder in call path on CCM.

I will try over G711ulaw & feed you back.
