Hello,

"clear line vty" the vty lines are not getting cleared.


line vty are useful to telnet to the device,

clear line vty doesn't delete the line vty it just frees it if busy.

However, after a reboot / reload you should see only one line vty used the one you are on:

Depends if you're accessing using your router as a Terminal Server over Octal cable.

Try "disconnect" command instead of "clear".


Router1#sh sess

Router1#clear line 1
