PIX 7.2(2) SIP SDP maniputation through NAT

Hello,

I have a PIX 515e that front ends a SIP trunk for our VoIP call processor. The call processor is in a private network and is NATed at the PIX for VoIP traffic to a 3rd party voice gateway on the Internet.

The problem I am having is that when the PIX NATs the traffic, it also modifies the SIP SDP IP addresses in the SIP packet from the private IP, to the public IP.

Is there a way to turn off this feature?

Thanks,

Dave

I figured it out... By removing the "inspect sip" configuration the PIX has stopped changing the contents of the SDP.
