VWIC Module

Dear all,

Kindly i want to know some information about the following module that will be installed in Cisco 3845 ISR router:

VWIC-2MFT-G703

Does this module support Channalized E1s and How many Channel groups support in each port?

i tried in cisco.com but it said that supporting channel groups but not numbering of these groups

Hi,

The this VWICs supports a channelized capability where the T1 or E1 service can be flexibly split into two or more fractional channel groups. Thus a single physical port can provide connection to multiple sites.

As channeling capability is there , you can number the channels , otherwise you cannot split E1 into multiple channel groups.

For E1 you can support 30 channel groups.
