Hi guys,
Is there a way to check on the status of your Port/Etherchannel other than running 'sh in po1' etc?
The reason I ask is that some of our switches have a really high utilisation and Im am just working through the configs of such. In some cases the configuration that is specified for the physical interfaces that make up the respective channel are also configured (and in some cases) incorrectly in the logical port channels.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Darren

Hi Darren,
You can also use the following commands:
show ether-channel port-channel
show ether-channel summary [detail]
These will show you the component physical ports as well that make up the ether-channel and a lot of other useful information.

Hi Istvan,
I have used these commands and they do provide good information....
Just wondering if there was anything else, in the IOS all I could find is what you have outlined above...
Thanks for the info :)

Hi Darren,
If you want to find out the reason for high cpu utilization, a good start would be to find out what processes are using the most cpu time:
show processes cpu sorted
show processes cpu history
