three 3560 switches to one stack-switch, possible?

Is it possible to create a switch-stack like with 3750 switches. Or is there only the way to configure a cluster but every 3560 switch has it's own config. Is there something to see all 3560 switches in one overview so there are 3 modules in the config.

Hello Marcus,

C3560 is not stackable as the C3750, it misses the special stackwise cable 32Gbps that makes stacking 3750 efficient.

in C3560 configuration guide for release 12.2(46)se the last one there is no section about stacking.

However, it is possible to manage a group of 3560s using clustering

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3560/software/release/12.2_46_se/configuration/guide/swclus.html#wp1028276

this is different from stacking, but from a management point of view provides a single access to all the cluster members.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
