I have PIX 515E with 7.0(1), how to proactivly monitor VPNs and get alerts on VPN disconnection etc. Is there any Software which can perform PIX proactive monitoring? I managed to get numbers of VPNs connected/IPSEC active tunnels using SNMP. There are OIDs that have connected VPNs but the OID changed when VPN reconnected or crypto cleared by administrator.
