CME / CUE AA transfer to voice mail

CUE 2.1.3 I am attempting to transfer a call directly to voice mail. I have created a general delivery mail box 8607 with e164 # 28607. Our direct to voice mail pattern is 2.... My debugs indicate that the call is reaching the CME with the called number 4600. 4600 is the original operator extension.When 28607 is dialed from an IP phone it goes directly to voice mail properly. Also 8607 is only assigned to the general delivery mailbox. Is there a way to transfer a call directly to vm using the AA script?

So, what happens when you try to transfer a call to voicemail? Can you post your config?

Direct transfers work properly

I can't post the complete config. But I can post sections. What sections do I need to post? I have attached the script we are using. The VoiceMailExt is being passed in as a parameter.

Can you choose the dial by extension option from the script and enter 28607?

Make a voice translation rule and you will not have to use E164 number.

voice translation-rule 2

I ended up opening a TAC case. There are database issues on the CUE preventing it from seeing all of the coniguration changes. I am upgrading the software next week to 3.1.2 and will post a follow up.

the issue was resolved by upgrading to CUE 3.1.2
