WLAN Override Killing ALL SSIDs

When I enable WLAN override for a specific AP, and I select only 2 of the 5 avaliable WLANs, all SSIDS disapper for that AP. My WISM is running code 4.1.171.0. Does anybody know if this is an issue. The AP is an AP1131.

Thanks for your help.

I've never heard of that as an issue, but while you're waiting for a response I would open a TAC case and see what they have to say.

Hi Patrick,

what do you mean by "all SSIDS disapper for that AP".

If they are not shown in your browser as selected it's maybe a problem with that browser.

Sebastian

Sebastian,

Basically whenever I enable any WLAN override for an AP, none of the selected SSIDs are available. Actually no connections can be made. Granted, this is in H-REAP mode but I didn't think it made a difference.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that HREAP APs don't support WLAN Override :/

EDIT: Okay, I'm wrong. I found a doc that seems to support that it works.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/controller/5.1/configuration/guide/c51hreap.html

So your clients see no SSIDs being broadcast at all?

Correct, as soon as Override is enabled on the AP, all SSIDS are gone.
