I need to add more DSP resources to my voicegateway. I currently have 1 PVDMII 32 with 2 16 channel dsp ( I am guessing on the motherboard). My question is can I just order another PVDMII 32 and add this to my mother board? Or do I need some type of NM to do this?

The ISR 2821 has three onboard PVDM slots, therefore it is possible to add a 2nd or 3rd PVDM2-32 if required.

Your 'show inv' only indicates the single PVDM, therefore you should be able to add two additional PVDMs

Hope this helps.

Allan.

The 2821 has 3 PVDM2 onboard slots. You should be able to add another PVDM2 DSP without an NM. This DSP calculator is very helpful.
