Hi all,

There is a setting on the VPN Group Policy that allows you to enforce a client firewall before connection is permitted.

The client firewall that we use is a Symantec EPSv11 Firewall. There is an option on Firewall Type > Custom Firewall. here do I find the Vendor ID/Product ID settings for a Symantec Firewall?

Thanks

Martyn

This configuration uses the SSL VPN client, but the same principles can be applied to group policies used for other VPN clients. Moreover, this configuration can be used for purposes other than to deny VPN access. In this example, LDAP attributes are simply used to map a group policy to a user.
