Site-to-Site VPN - ASA to Router - Static IPs on both sides

We are in the process of migrating our WAN connectivity. Currently we use GRE tunnels with IPSEC on router to router VPNs. We are migrating to ASA5510s (ver. 8.0) at the head end and would like to form “test tunnels” from the existing remote routers to the ASAs.

The only configuration examples I can find are either ASA with static IPs to Routers with dynamic IPs OR ASA with Dynamic IPs to Routers with static IPs.

Does anyone know where I can find an example or configuration guide for Site-to-Site VPN using ASA with static IP on one end and IOS Routers with static IPs on the remote ends?

I have the ASA set up in a lab environment with direct public IP connectivity and I have set up a connection profile using ASDM 6.0 I can access the internet through the ASA from the inside LAN in the lab, but I am stuck trying to figure out how to configure the remote site router so the tunnel will come up.

Thanks in advance.

Brian
