1.Does CCM 6.1 supports active directory.
2.If yes how can I link it with active directory(what are the steps).
3.Basically my customer wants to get directly the users in ccm instead of using "user->add user" option in CCM .
4.Also he is expecting that if any change is done in the AD like user addition/paddword modificatins e.t.c. automatically get sync in CCM.
Thanks

yes, look at SRND for further info
follow LDAP topics from config guide
LDAP System Configuration
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/6_1_1/ccmcfg/b02ldsys.html

4. yes
you would need to adjust sync time because it's not all the time.

thanks.
Just few more questions:
1)For CCM 6.1, does it support both 2000 & 2003 microsoft AD integration.
2)The addition of users in the user DB on the CCM, does it depent on the CCM device license(DUL)?
3)Once the interation is done, can we add selective users from AD to the CCM DB, or it will add all th users from Mic AD.
4)Any idea how much effort is required to do this.Is it too tough? How much time it takes?
Thanks

1) Yes, before asking anymore i advise to read SRND LDAP integration chapter
2) no, DLU are as the name clearly says DEVICE
3) it will add whatever is under the user search base, no filters
4) just the effort of reading the guide and following instructions, how much time?? that's hard to say
if you already know the admin user for integration and OUs to sync shouldn't be long. if you don't, well....
