3750G configuration stack commands

Using a current 2950, and replacing with a 3750G POE-with an additional 3950G as a back-up (stack) is there a configuration sheet that will give me a step-by-step CLI so I can configure the new switch with my current 2950 configuration?

Hello Leroy,

I would first configure the stack of the two new C3750s.

Actually, the ports will be seen as 1/0/x and as 2/0/y after you have the stack running.

After having done this, the configuration of the single port can be copied to the right port(s).

port 0/x on c2950 becomes 1/0/x and 2/0/x on the c3750 stack if you want to have a backup switch.

if the second C3750 is for backup I wonder if the stack is useful.

Hope to help

Giuseppe

If I the 3750 config works I will let everyone know the details less headaches for everyone else
