Extention Mobility

I have problem in extension mobility service which appears in 7912 model .the ip phone connected throuh hp switch and it take ip address via dhcp but the extension mobility service not allowed and when ip phone conect with cisco switch the service became allowed . I don't know what is the reson for this problem . Please help me to solve this problem as soon as possible .

Does the extension mobility url have a hostname? if so try the IP address of the CCM.

Hi

Just check whether you have done the config on the CCM properly.

The steps are:

-->Create the EM service

-->Config the service parameters

-->Create the device profile for the user and subscribe the EM service for the device profile

-->Subscribe the EM service for the specific IP phone.

-->Associate the user with the Extension mobility and the Device(if user id is not present you can add new user in the CCM or by creating in Active Directory and sync it with CCM if at all you are using AD.
