CUCMBE 6.1.2 - Extension mobility not working - Non defined IMS exception

Unanswered Question

Hi,

I've installed a CUCMBE 6.1.2. I've configured Extension Mobility, but when I try to login I get the following error: "<error code="2">Application Authentication Error: Could not execute user authentication: Coudn't authenticate: Non Defined IMS Exception"

If I logon with a wrong PIN code, I get the normal authentication failure.

What is causing this error and how can I solve it?

At the beginning I had issues logging into the CM Administration (typo in the password...) so I had to reset it using the CLI-command to reset your UI password. Could this cause the issue?

Best regards,

Angelique

I have this problem too.

The error seems to be related to authentication process.Try Changing the password of CCMSysUser and restart the Tomcat service which may solve the problem. The same steps have solved similar issues in the past. The Cisco Extension Mobility feature allows users to temporarily access their Cisco Unified IP Phone configuration such as line appearances, services, and speed dials from other Cisco Unified IP Phones.

Hi,

Indeed it was the CCMSysUser password.

I've noticed that also the WDSysUser experienced this problem, so I resetted this password too!
