Can the Cisco 7609 Internet Router model have a redundant supervisor card??
I think so, just want to check to be sure..

Collin,
Sorry to bother you, could you help me out one more time..
The console port on my supervisor card is broken...
If I install the redundant supervisor card then take out the one that is broken nothing will happen right..
I mean, the IOS ect ect should be transfer automatically on the new card right?

No, you must put the IOS on the Supervisor! I would make sure the config is synced and copy it to flash on the new Sup just in case.

Is there any documentation on the internet that could help me out..
Supervisor on a 7609 never did before...
this router also peers with our gateways so I don't want to mess anything up..
