1. There is no way to upgrade the WS-SUP720-3B to support 10G uplink on SUP


2.but you can opt for 10G module , which you can install in one of the slot of chassis.

WS-X6704-10GE 10G module with 12.2(17a)SX minimum IOS.

I'm afraid not. To have 10Gbps ports on the sup720 you need one of these -

Without wishing to sound like a Cisco salesman you may want to contact your hardware supplier and see if Cisco are offering any upgrade deals.


You can use the VS Sup720 without actually having to use VSS.
