I want to shape traffic out of a GigE interface to 200Mbps, but the "traffic-shape rate" command only max up to 100Mbps. Is there a way to work around it?
Thanks a lot

Hello Gary,
depending on the platform and IOS release you could be able to use modular QoS instead with the Class Based Shaping that shouldn't have this limitation.
So what is your device ? What IOS image is running ?
Hope to help

Hi, it's a 3825 router running 12.4 (17). Really appreciated if you have a sample config.
Thanks

Something like this (NB: syntax might be off)
policy-map yournamehere
class class-default
shape average 200000000
interface gigE #
service-policy out yournamehere
PS:
Do note, although 3825 has gig interfaces, it doesn't have the performance to sustain such a high bandwidth. If fact, it's likely to have some difficulity with your 200 Mbps.
