Solved: CME using E1 8 channels use a channel for an ISDN device?

Hi, not sure if its possible but I'll try to explain.

A customer of ours has a Call Manager Express with an E1 and 8 channels on the ISDN 30 that we put in. My question is, is it possible to provide off the 8 channels a dedicated channel for a separate ISDN device? So 7 channels for the phone system and a channel for an ISDN device? The ISDN device is something to do with a security system a company uses to connect in to view the cameras ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Craig,

There will be no way to strip out 1 of the 8 channels that I know of.
