Anyone know how many etherchannels this model will support ? The 24 port versions are restricted to 6 , do the 48 port versions have the capability of more than 6 . Can't seem to find the answer anywhere in the switch product data sheets .

EtherChannel Configuration Guidelines

If improperly configured, some EtherChannel ports are automatically disabled to avoid network loops and other problems. Follow these guidelines to avoid configuration problems:

•Do not try to configure more than 6 EtherChannels on the switch.

Ok , thanks that rules out a bigger 2960, will have to go to a 3560 to get more port channels.
