When we have a computer get a new IP address for the first time from the 6500 dhcp windows DNS updates correctly. when they get a different IP address from DHCP on our cisco 6500 windows DNS does not update the new address. does anyone have any thought on this to make this work correctly?

example DHCP scope on the my 6500

ip dhcp pool syosset_user

network 10.100.20.0 255.255.254.0

default-router 10.100.20.1

netbios-node-type h-node

domain-name swsny.swsad.com

dns-server 10.100.22.200 10.100.22.50 192.168.10.202

netbios-name-server X.X.X.X

I think the problem is not the 6500 but to do with Windows instead. In m network, once a client is moved or obtain a new IP, have to flush dns and re-register (ipconfig /flushdns and ipconfig/registerdns). This problem also holds true even if DHCP is done by MS server. I'm not aware of any quick remedy for this.
