ERSPAN - can a 6500 forward on RSPAN data from other switches?

I am installing a 6509 to ERSPAN to a central site for voice recording. Can 3750 switches locally connected to the 6509 RSPAN the voice traffic to the 6509, for forwarding to the central site over ERSPAN? Or do all the IP phones have to be locally connected to the 6509?

Hello Peter,

I'm not sure this is possible.

You should need a RSPAN session carrying traffic from C3750 to C6509.

the destination of this RSPAN session has to become the source of the ERSPAN session to the central site.

the source of ERSPAN should be the RSPAN vlan used between C3750-C6509 if so it is feasible

Hope to help
