Hello,

Looking for directions, documentation and advice for setting up port mirroring on a remote 3560 switch. I am using Wireshark software for the packet data gathering.

Any assistance and details are greatly welcome. I searched but was not successful finding any documentation.

TIA,

Gary

By port mirroring do you mean copying the data received on one port to another port ?

If so then it is called SPAN/RSPAN in Cisco terminology. Have a look at this link and come back if you have further questions -
