Route Pattern Saving

When creating a new Route Pattern, does it reset the Gateway when saving? I didn't know if this was safe to do during business hours. Thanks.

If you point the Route Pattern to the Gateway directly, I am sure it would reset the gateway, but I think if you put the gateway in a Route Group and the Route Group in a Route List and point your Route Pattern to the Route List it should not...
