VideoTelephony over H323 trunk : CCME + CUCM6 : how to

connect101

Hi,

I'm trying to connect VideoTelephony between CCME and a CCM6. The CCM6 is the main Office and the CCME is the remote office.

I've tried it with H323 but the problem is that the Call succeed but NO VIDEO.

The VTAdvantage with the CCM6 display the Remote and Local window when the call is on, but in the Remote Window thers is nothing. No signal.

With the CCME, the VTAdvantage don't display the Remote window, just the Local window only.

Is there any issue? or any link to try?

How display the video on the remote window?

You can make a video call, using VT advantage, between CCM clusters and CME boxes.

Since we do not have any video-enabled MTP or Transcoder devices you will have to trick CM into disabling supplementary services for calls out this trunk in order to get video to work. This means that you will not be able to place these calls on hold. To do this you set MTP required on the ICT to CME but set the MRGL on the ICT to one that does not have access to any MTP. CM will not be able to invoke an MTP for the call but the service parameter "Fail Call if MTP Allocation Fails" defaults to False so the call will go through but with supplementary services disabled (hold, transfer, etc).
