DFM - receive alert on link status up and down

I am trying to configure DFM to send alert upon change of a specific port/link status when an snmp trap link status is received.

My questions are

1. Does snmp notification send email when a trap is received?

2. How can I configure the alert to be sent when the link status is changed to either up or down?

Have you tried checking under notification services and maybe modifying the poll cycles..

Hi,

Which notification services you would recommend me to do? Personally, I have configure email notification and snmp trap notification. However, I found out there's no way that I can configure snmp trap notification to send the alert to me via email.
