I'm a Cisco newbie and have been a help desk tech for almost 2 years. Learning the basics of Cisco networking seems like it would be a great way to advance my career, and just recently the need to implement QOS on our Cisco network has arisen. We don't have the expertise in-house to do this and I've been asked what training I might need to be able to implement this myself.
So that's my question to you: Starting completely from scratch, what course of training should I follow in order to get comfortable with Cisco products in general (routers, switches, firewalls), and specifically to configure QOS for my organization. Alternatively, if getting one of the Cisco certifications would basically cover all that, which one should I get?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
