Hi All,

We deployed and tested our GSS setup with TCP keepalives. But before going to production our client wants to use the HTTP header keealive,

When I tried to configure it, answers become offline. But its working perfectly with normal TCP(443) keepalive.I dont have a good idea about the host tag and all in HTTP header keepalive.

Please help us to resolve this issue and if it possible please provide the basic defferences with these two keepalives and advatges of HTTP header over TCP keepalive.

Kind Regards

If you are trying to do an http head to port 443 the vip in all likelihood is SSL. GSS will not do an ssl head request . Host tag is what you would put in the host header field of the head request usually used when the request needs to go through a web application firewall or is destined for a virtual web service.
