Registration Rejected on MGCP gateway CUCM 6

What does it mean "Rejected" in CUCM 6?

In Callmanager 4 I saw only Registered/Not registered messages?

Hi,

I think you would have got this in previous CCM versions as well.

Try a "no mgcp" on the router, then "mgcp" to re-apply to config, hopefully then it should register on CCM then.

Also go through these troubleshooting steps, they may be of some use if you've applied an "ip domain name" to the router:

Do a debug mgcp packets- this will show, perhaps helps in why it was rejected- if it responds with 500 it will be the name of the GW - check if you have domain name set on the gateway e.g -cisco.com if so add it on the CUCM
