FAX Integration

Hello,

I have a large organization that has a digital fax application. We would like to give this ability to the entire organization. We of course are limited with the amount of DID's we have. We would like to use the same number that is on the phone for the fax number. I know that there is a TCL script that would do this but would it work well in an organization that has over 10,000 phones.

I would like to get some opinions on whether this TCL script would work for me or if there is another product that could help. Thanks

I haven't seen a product that does this. Best solution I have seen is XMedius Fax with seperate number, does T38 with dial peers on gateway. All software based solution. Whatever fax solution you go with I'd make sure it does T38 software only, no hardware.

I sometimes forward my desk phone to my cell phone, I'd go nuts if my cell phone rang and it was a fax. It would retry 3 or more times, etc.
