Hi all,
Is there a way to display the fingerprint of an RSA key in IOS, so it can be matched against the fingerprint displayed by PuTTY the first time I connect to the device?
I know that this has been discussed before and no one has come up with an answer. I'm hoping that more recent versions of IOS will have implemented this.
Thanks,
- Steve

Steve,
I believe you are looking for the "show crypto key mypubkey rsa" command.

Hi Mark,
Thanks! However, that command does not show the fingerprint of the key.
Thanks,

Steve,
I am not sure that is possible. That command only shows the public key on the local device. I believe that info is stored on the private-config file that is not accessible.
