CCSP certification without experience

I have CCNA, and looking forward to making career in security. so doing CCNA security and then CCSP without experience on the firewall/security; will it help me in getting a job in the security front?

Also is it possible to do CCSP without experience?

any thoughts , suggestions will be appreciated.

Also by the side i will be working on Checkpoint CCSA cert too.

With sufficient study it would be possible to pass the CCSP certification without any real experience. It would be more difficult to do this but possible.


Whether having the certification would help you get a job might depend on what kind of job you are talking about. In applying for an entry level job, having the certifications(s) would give you some advantage over applicants who have no certifications. But in applying for more senior level jobs most employers would be looking for applicants with a combination of certifications and experience.
