MPLS L2 VPN on 2 trunk Port

Unanswered Question

I have a 7606 and Me3400 switch both are connected on fiber. SFP on ME and Gbics on Cisco 7606 router. ring protection.

20 VLAns are allowed in this trunk. Can I initiate L2 VPN from VLANs ? as now there are 2 physical ports in use. Normally xconnect command works on single interface or sub interface.

I have this problem too.

To create Layer 2 VPN connections between two ports on the same router, use the connect command in global configuration mode. To remove such connections, use the no form of this command.

connect connection-name interface [dlci | pvc | pvp] interface [dlci | pvc | pvp] [interworking ip | ethernet]
