I have been googling my brains out trying to find solution so that I can properly track the state of metro ethernet point to point links. Verizon does not not pass link state between sites and I still show a link up when it's really down. UDLD would be one solution but instead of forcing a up/down or down/down it sends the port into error disable. Not a desirable solution. Any pointers would be useful.
