Callmanager version 6.1.2
A client is having an issue where an outside caller calls into a 2811 MGCP gateway on an FXO port. The FXO port has a connection plar set to an extension in callmanager that forwards to Unity to play an opening greeting. The caller will hear 2 rings and then 5-8 seconds of silence before Unity starts to play the greeting. This causes some callers to believe there is an issue and hang up. Unity continues to process the call and plays its greeting and then transfers the now dead call to a hunt group. Once someone in the huntgroup picks up the call they hear a few seconds of silence and then the call terminates as the caller is no longer there.
Also if the caller hangs up during the greeting Unity still continues to process the call and forwards the now dead call out to the huntgroup. If the caller stays on the line through the silence and the greeting the call is completed correctly.
I've checked the event logs in Unity and the settings on the FXO ports but all appears to be normal. This is a new installation and has always had this issue.
