I have several new phones (new to me but refurb) and they all have MIC installed.
We do not use this on our call manager and I cannot get Cisco TAC help because we have no software support.
CAn some let me know how to remove these.

Hi,
this is described within the guide: "Cisco Unified Communications Manager Security Guide for Cisco Unified Communications Manager"
Copied from there:
Under the Security Configuration menu on the phone, press CTL file, unlock or **#, and erase.
Link to the Guide: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucmbe/security/6_0_1/secugd/sec601-co.html
Do a search for: Deleting the CTL File on the Cisco Unified IP Phone
Hope this helps!
Best wishes from Austria

Under security settings
#3 - MIC says installed
#5 - DTL File - says not installed

CTL and MIC are two differnt things. I am pretty sure you can't delete the MIC (Manufacturer Installed Certificate) but if you install a certificate of your own it takes precedence.
Hope this helps.
