ISDN not working

Hi Experts,

I have a trouble with an ISDN conenction at one of our sites in US.

We have a Verizon provided ISDN and the switch type is 5ESS.

Verizon doesnt see our SPIDs and we have programmed the SPIDs correctly as they mentioned.

Please see below the output of sh isdn status & sh run int bri0/2/0.

Can someone please help.

Hello Imran,

check with your provider currently it is not ok

TEI 112, ces = 1, state = 4(await init)

spid1 configured, no LDN, spid1 sent, spid1 NOT valid

TEI Not Assigned, ces = 2, state = 1(terminal down)

spid2 configured, no LDN, spid2 NOT sent, spid2 NOT valid

or the spids are wrong or they are not needed

"Currently, only the DMS-100 and NI switch "

types require SPIDs.

The AT&T 5ESS switch type may support a SPID, but we recommend that you set up that ISDN service without SPIDs. In addition, SPIDs have significance at the local access ISDN interface only. Remote routers never receive the SPID.

A SPID is usually a seven-digit telephone number with some optional numbers. However, service providers may use different numbering schemes. For the DMS-100 switch type, two SPIDs are assigned, one for each B channel."
