Unity with Failover - Move SQL DB

All,

Can anyone recommend a procedure for this. We have a unity failover pair VM only running out of space on the C: drive. This is because during the installation the procedure to move the logs and DB to the D: drive was not performed. If I try to detach the databse now it does not succeed, because it is running failover I guess. Anyone know of the best way to get around this with minimal service disruption?

Thanks

Martin

When you back up and restore a Cisco Unity server (and one or more Exchange servers) you need to consider the same issues involved when you back up and restore any other system.

Here is good link for Unity SQL Backup Issues Troubleshooting.

Here is the guide for moving the database and logs:

Hope this helps.

Also, do this first on your passive node then failover and do it on the other node.
