I configured SSL_VPN ASA 8.0.3 and give user access over HTTP to a Citrix portal where they launch Citrix published applications. The remote client will download the Java ICA client from the Citrix server or use its local ICA client. In both ways, the protocol tunneled through the SSL link is ICA.
Question: how can I block on the ASA level "client drive mapping" available in the ICA protocol?
I can of course disable this feature on the Terminal server itself, but would not want rely on a server setting.
On a IOS router there is a way to classify and prioritize ICA traffic by using NBAR.
Citrix ICA protocol includes the ability to identify Citrix ICA traffic based on the ICA tag number of the packet.
How can we use this mechanism to deny âclient drive mappingâ on an ASA box?
