Hi,

Customer has lms 3.1 on windows.

all devices from dcr has disapeared so customer decided to restore backup from last saturday:

d:\PROGRA~1\CSCOpx\bin\perl d:\PROGRA~1\CSCOpx\bin\restorebackup.pl -d "D:\Bkp_ciscowks" -gen now

ERROR: doRestore of [Common Services] had some errors. Check the log file for details

Restore failed. Previous system data may be lost due to failed restore. To avoid this, perform a successful restore.

He has generation 0. Do you think that option -gen now is a valid option ?

I attach log file.

Many thanks, Elisabeth

There was an error restoring the cmf database. Make sure that all of the database processes are shutdown, and that nothing is holding d:\PROGRA~1\CSCOpx\databases\cmf\cmf.db open. It might be best to set the Daemon Manager service to Manual, reboot, then do the restore. When the restore is complete, set Daemon Manager back to Automatic, and reboot again.
