IPCC Express 2 Place Calls connecting

For one reason or another I need to write an IPCC Express script that places 2 calls, and then I want to merge the streams together, ie connect to the 2 calls. Anyone ever done this? Its not working like I thought it would. If its not possible anyone ever done something like this with CUAE?

Unfortunately you can't do it using the steps in the CRS editor. You can initiate two separate calls but there's no way to merge them together.

Thats pretty grim... What API's would I be looking at to custom code this?
