SCE Bootup Problem

Hi Guys I have an SCE 2000 which failed after installation. the problem is i cant get access through the console, it does not respond. when i get access through the AUX port, the first prompt is [VxWorks Boot] if i try to reboot it gives the error cant load bootfile.

This is an old post, but I have the same problem... somebody knows how to boot the SCE from the VxWorks console?

Hi,

First you need is a file named "SEos"... I looked for this file in the download area of Cisco could not find it.

Then the procedure is very similar to others using VxWorks...

If you have a running box, you can extract the OS file and boot it with TFTP.

The file name is 'seos'.

Hi, I have the same issue, but the network card doesnt boot, how can I get the management Ethernet interface to come up in the VX works boot mode so I can copy the seos file from another working device?
