VPN Connected but unusable

I have an issue on some of our mobile laptops XP SP3 VPN Client 4.7. They can connect and auth. to our LAN, but nothing on the LAN is visable or accessable. When I show the ststus on the windows task bar and I try to access anything on the remote LAN I see no communications going through the VPN. It works fine on some of the laptops. The Windows configuration looks the same. Tried un-installing and re-installing but nothing changed.

What is your RA server PIX ASA, Router?

1-Are you using the same VPN client on all the labtops?

2- Make sure you have NAT-T enabled see if makes any difference after.

For ASA

ASA(config)#crypto isakmp nat-traversal 20

For PIX

PIX(config)#isakmp nat-traversal 20

3- Look at the PIX/ASA ASDM logs when client

tries accessing LAN resources.

We are using a PIX 506e

Jeff,

Do you have NAT-T enabled?

look at your config

or

pix#show run | inc isakmp nat-traversal

if not configured use

pix(config)#isakmp nat-traversal 20

and have your vpn clients try connecting
