Blocking Collect Call ISDN

How can I do to block the collect calls on E1 ISDN?

Well you can use translation profiles on the GW itself.

If you are using CCM you can use FAC or just CSS/Partitions to avoid those numbers.

Give details of your topology to see exactly what can be done.

unless they all come using a known ANI ALL the time there is no way to do such thing

if they do come all the time using the SAME ANI then you can use the above procedures.

Hi Peterson,

You would normally work with your Telco/Provider to block these type of Collect calls. They have the ability to block these before they ever reach your setup. We went through this process with our Telco a few years ago and it works perfectly!
