Hi i have a questions about cat6500

I have to work with a switch cat6500 still now.

i have 2 supervisor cards

8 8 9 1000BaseX Supervisor WS-SUP32-GE-3B yes standby

7 7 9 1000BaseX Supervisor WS-SUP32-GE-3B yes ok

This 2 supervisor are in catOS and i see that the configuration between them is not syncronized. This is for some reason ?

i have to migrate them to IOS and i need to kwon if this is and issue , and the other questios is abourt some procedur to make this migration.

Hi There,

Your first question has already been answered.

Regardin Migration from CatOS to IOS, its not an issue.

Cisco is in the process of phasing out CatOS.

IOS is constantly being Improved with more & more features being added contiously.

Although its a Personal choice but its recommended to use IOS.

Here are some Good Document that can help a Lot with migration.

Well, HA (High Availability) is disabled by default. You must enable it and I recommend reading the documentation before proceeding:
