I need a static route to be withdrawn if HSRP state on the same router, changes. The problem is that if this static route keeps being redistributed after the HSRP state has changed, undesirable asymmetric routing occurs.

I know that normally HSRP is an output of the tracking process rather than an input to it.

I am aware of Enhanced Object Tracking and what it can do but I can't see how it can do what I need.

Any help much appreciated.
