Hi everyone!
I am an Junior in PGW 2200 configuration. Do I need to re-install PGW2200 when I change the IP Address of it?
Please give me any ideas?
Thanks

The PGW refecence to his own ip address and to the IP address
of the standby PGW are all in the file :
/opt/CiscoMGC/etc/XECfgParm.dat
In this configuration parameters
*.ipAddrLocalA =
*.ipAddrLocalB =
*.ipAddrPeerA =
*.ipAddrPeerB =
*.IP_Addr1 =
*.IP_Addr2 =
*.IP_Addr3 =
*.IP_Addr4 =
So you need to change this file in both the active and the standby PGW.
After the change the PGW application need to be restarted
In addition:
- all the NAS need to change the pointers to the
PGW addresses in they rlm-group configuration section
- all the SLTs need to change the pointer to the PGW IP address in the
"ss7 session" configuration section
After the change the SLTs neeed ot be rebooted.

no you dont need to re-install the PGW
just change the following files, to reflect the new IP addresses
/etc/inet/hosts
/etc/hostname.inf_name
/etc/inet/ipnodes
