Hi Folks, Recently we migrated from Hybrid to Native IOS on a 6509 with a Sup720-3B the current image is 12.2(18)SXF15. My question is regarding ISL trunking and cdp information. We have a small number of switches (1900's) that will be replaced in the near future, because they use ISL trunking the cdp neighbor information is picked up by every other switch on the network. If, for example, I telnet to any switch on a different vlan to the switches concerned and type "sh cdp neigh det" not only will it show me it's directly connected neighbors but all of the 1900's (5) on ISL trunks. Can anyone enlighten me on how to remedy this? Thanks in advance.
